Robbers break into house in Jangpura Extn

Four robbers allegedly broke into the house of Marvinder Singh, nephew of Jangpura MLA Tarvinder Singh Marwah and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 1.5 crore, the police said. The icident happened around 12 noon on Monday.

Singh's wife and domestic help were at their I block home in Jangpura Extension at the time of the incident when four masked robbers entered there home at gunpoint and took away cash and jewellery. Singh, who runs a construction business wasn't at home at the time of the incident.

A case has been registered against unknown robbers.
