School bus hits 70-year-old woman

A private bus carrying school children allegedly ran over a 70-year-old woman in central Delhi on Monday, police said. The woman identified as Bhagwan Devi was crossing the Faiz Road with her one-year-old grand daughter Neha at 2:30 pm when the incident occurred.

The woman identified as Bhagwan Devi was crossing the Faiz Road with her one-year-old grand daughter Neha at 2:30 pm when the incident occurred.

“She was hit from behind,” said a senior police officer.

Devi and Neha were rushed to the adjacent Ram Manohar Lohia hospital where Devi is in a critical condition. “Luckily, Neha survived with minor bruises,” said the officer. HTC
