A six-month-old child and a five-year-old girl were raped in separate incidents in New Delhi, police said today.

In the first incident, the six-month-old girl was sexually assulated allegedly by her teenaged neighbour in Kabir Nagar on Wednesday night.
The girl was with her nanny when Sonu (18) came there and took her for a stroll. He allegedly raped her and later brought her home.
"The incident came to light when the child fell ill and the family admitted her to a hospital. The hospital authorities informed the police about the incident yesterday," a senior police official said.
Sonu was arrested and a case of rape was registered against him.
In another case, a five-year-old girl was raped allegedly by a middle-aged driver in the Capital.
The incident took place in KN Katju Marg on Thursday and the victim is the daughter of a domestic help.
He allegedly lured the girl, took her in his car and raped her.
The incident came to light when the girl narrated the incident to her parents who approached the police. The driver has been detained.
