Speeding bus kills one in RK Puram, 10 injured

A 30-year-old woman from Manipur was killed and 10 others injured on Wednesday night when a chartered bus rammed an auto-rickshaw and an Innova car in RK Puram.

A 30-year-old woman from Manipur was killed and 10 others injured on Wednesday night when a chartered bus rammed an auto-rickshaw and an Innova car in RK Puram.

The deceased, sources said, was heading towards New Delhi railway station in the auto rickshaw with her three relatives when the accident occurred around 10.15pm.

The woman was identified as A Vinita. The driver of the bus managed to flee with his vehicle, police said.

The accident took place at Sector-1 in RK Puram while the charted bus was plying in the wrong carriageway. It first hit an Innova and then rammed the auto which hit a stationary truck from behind.
