The institution, along with Jesus and Mary, has a registration and admission process completely different from other colleges in Delhi University.

This year, the application process has completely gone online and no paper forms will be available. Till last year, the college had the provision of online registration as well as paper forms. Paper forms will be made available only for applicants with disabilities.

“We will start the registration process by June 1. The last date of application will be around mid-June. The forms will be available online,” said Thampu. Last year, the application process had begun on May 20 itself and went on till June 18.

The decision was taken keeping in mind the colleges’ efforts to save paper and make the application process easier. Also, a large number of students applied online last year.

The college used to offer 10 courses in the undergraduate programme till last year but this year the BA and BSc programme courses have been done away with under the new four-year programme, leaving eight honours courses.

For Jesus and Mary College (JMC), the admission process is anticipated to begin on June 5 and expected to be completely online. The college had not issued paper forms last year either.

The admission process at St Stephen’s College and JMC are independent of the rest of the university. While the students will have to fill centralised OMR forms for admission in all other colleges, these two colleges issue separate forms. St Stephen’s also holds interviews for students that meet the cut-off.

The registration process for the remaining will begin on June 5 and forms will be available both online as well as in university centres.
