The day’s minimum temperature was 13.6 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.

Humidity levels saw a high of 92% and a low of 24%.

“There will be light mist on Sunday morning... the day would be sunny and pleasant,” said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 33 and 15 degrees Celsius, added the official.

Friday’s maximum temperature was 31.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above average, while the minimum settled at 13.7 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.

The increase in temperatures has not gone down well with Delhiites. “I have a sore throat because of the temperature fluctuations,” said Neha Agarwal, a Delhi University student.
