Talwar's judicial custody extended

His judicial custody has been extended by another 14 days.

Earlier, the opposed the bail application of Dr Talwar, stating that another polygraph test needs to be conducted on him.

Filing an application before the designated court of Sapna Mishra at Ghaziabad, CBI had pleaded for Talwar's continuance in judicial custody contending that another polygraph test was required.

The counsel for Talwar, however, had opposed the judicial custody saying the agency had not found any substantial evidence to prove his role in the gruesome act.

Talwar was arrested on May 23 by Noida police for allegedly murdering his teenage daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj on the intervening night of June 15-16.
