Teen shot dead for objecting to urinating near house

A 17-year-old girl was shot dead and her mother was injured, allegedly by their former tenant for objecting to his urinating outside their Nizamuddin house on Wednesday night, police said.

Police said the incident was reported from Alwi Chowk in E-block around 10 pm. The victim has been identified as Binno.

Mohammad Waseem, a neighbour, said Javed was about to relieve himself outside their house when Binno and her mother, Sadmani, objected. An enraged Javed took out a gun and shot twice at both the mother and daughter. Binno sustained two bullet injuries and died on the spot while her mother was rushed to Aiims trauma centre where she is critical.
