There are many things I like doing when it gets cold. But I am a foodie and love Chinese. I like going to the monastery area at Civil Lines and bite into some tempting momos. My pick are the pan-fried chicken momos.

For me, winter and food come in the same sentence. And being a Delhiite, I am sold out on the chat of Chandni Chowk (in Old Delhi). Be it gol gappas, samosas or dahi vadas, winter is the season to indulge and not feel guilty about it.

Aarti Bhatia, 24, Social Media, Community Manager
I am a hardcore non-vegetarian and nothing beats the toothsome fare you get at the Jama Masjid area in Old Delhi. Winter is the season to dig into delicacies such as kebabs and curries.

Puneet Jain, 30, Jeweller
I am at my happiest when I am attending a big fat Delhi wedding, at a farmhouse in Mehrauli, near my locality. No one celebrates nuptials like we do in the Capital. Because I am a social person, come winters and I am flooded with wedding invitations.

Jai Kumar Gaurav, 28, Environmentalist
For me the thing that stands out the most in the winter season, is that you can eat your heart out without a care in the world. I make sure that every weekend, I head out to Old Delhi for a delectable bite. I look forward to parathas at Parathewali Gali. Their huge range of stuffings, for the parathas, is appetising.

Riti Bhatia, 32, Homemaker
I am a chai person. And what better time to have your favourite drink than when there is chill in the air. I love going to North Campus and have garma garam chai at J.P. Tea Stall at Delhi School of Economics. Since the vendor there knows me for ages, he makes a special masala cuppa for me.

Deepika Gupta, 27, Software and Web Entrepreneur
I love Sunday picnics and you can only have them during winters. What better than going to the Deer Park with your family and friends. I always carry homemade cheese sandwiches and namkeens, and then laze around ... chatting and joking for hours.
