Track-II push for resuming India-Pakistan dialogue

Even as the composite dialogue between India and Pakistan remains stalled after the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, there is a push for resumption of dialogue between the two countries from the track—II channel that is getting activated.

Even as the composite dialogue between India and Pakistan remains stalled after the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, there is a push for resumption of dialogue between the two countries from the track—II channel that is getting activated.

Eleven organizations in India are coming together to host a three-day seminar on India-Pakistan — A Roadmap for Peace in New Delhi from January 10.

Twenty-two prominent personalities from Pakistan, including Aitzaz Ahsan, former president of the Pakistan supreme court bar association, Iqbal Halder, former law minister, and Asma Jehangir, human rights activist will attend the seminar.

The seminar will be inaugurated by former Prime Minister I.K. Gujral.

Bizenjo Hasil Khan, the senator of Baluchistan, will also attend the seminar.
