TV news anchor robbed in Delhi
A woman employee of state run Doordarshan news channel was robbed of her purse containing Rs 10,000 by two motorcycle-borne thieves in the heart of the national capital.

A woman employee of state run Doordarshan news channel was robbed of her purse containing Rs 10,000 by two motorcycle-borne thieves in the heart of the national capital, the police said on Thursday.
Ritu Verma, an anchor with the news channel, was robbed in the Mandi House area of New Delhi on Wednesday evening. The thieves snatched her purse, reportedly containing Rs 10,000, and fled, the police said.
"We have received information regarding the incident. We have registered a case and investigations are on," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Anand Mohan.
