Two killed in separate accidents
A minor boy was killed when an unknown vehicle hit the bicycle he was riding with his father, who was injured in the accident, on Thursday night.

Two persons, including the boy, were killed and two others injured in three separate accidents in the Capital in the last 24 hours.
The boy died on the spot while his father was immediately rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The police have registered a case against the accused driver, who fled the spot after the mishap. The father is reported to be in a stable condition. The accident took place in Sultanpuri.
In another accident, a 30-year-old motorcycle borne man was killed on Thursday night when a Tavera car hit him in Khajuri Khas.
Surender, a resident of Sonia Vihar, was on his way home when the accident took place. He was immediately rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. In this case the accused driver has been arrested.
In the third accident, a 35-year-old man was critically injured when a Blueline bus, plying on route number 539 between Nangloi and Mehrauli, hit him on Thursday evening.
The accident took place at a bus stop in Najafgarh furniture market where the victim was waiting for a bus.
“A few eyewitnesses said the bus was trying to overtake another vehicle. While the driver was overtaking the vehicle, the victim suddenly came in front of the bus and was injured,” said a senior police officer. The driver has been arrested.
