UP teenager arrested for drug peddling
A teenager from Uttar Pradesh was arrested here allegedly with 300 grams of heroin worth around Rs 30 lakh, police said on Monday.

A teenager from Uttar Pradesh was arrested here allegedly with 300 grams of heroin worth around Rs 30 lakh, police said on Monday.
"Mohammad Khalid, who hails from Loni in Ghaziabad, was apprehended from Connaught Place when he came there to allegedly deliver a consignment of the contraband," said Ashok Chand, deputy commissioner of police (crime).
"Khalid started helping his stepmother in supplying heroin in Delhi and Ghaziabad after his father went into hiding fearing police chase for being allegedly involved in drug peddling," he said, adding, "Khalid's father is a proclaimed offender."
