In a bid to end the stand-off with members of the Academic Council, Delhi University Vice Chancellor Deepak Pental has invited agitating teachers for talks on Tuesday.
Nineteen members are on a protest at the V-C’s office since May 13 against what they claim is an unilateral imposition of semester-based syllabi in 12 undergraduate science courses.
The protest started after the council on Thursday approved the revised syllabi to be implemented from session 2010-2011.
