Walia directs officials to act against adulteration

With the festive season round the corner, Delhi Health Minister AK Walia has instructed the department of food safety to act against food adulteration.

With the festive season round the corner, Delhi Health Minister AK Walia has instructed the department of food safety to act against food adulteration.

The minister has asked the department to lift samples in large numbers from different markets to enhance level of confidence of consumers as far as quality of the goods, including eatables is concerned.

The department has been asked to lift samples of kutu atta, milk, cheese, khoya, ghee, oil, etc. Walia further instructed the department to keep their testing labs in good condition.
