Several households in Lajpat Nagar IV area have been facing difficulties in regular water for almost a week. "However, since yesterday, not a drop of water has reached here," said RA Arora, a resident of Lajpat Nagar IV.
The scene was no different at Kailash Colony. Residents claimed that they had been facing water problems on and off for last eight to 10 days. "Every second day, there is no supply, as if the DJB is rationing water. Even today, there was no supply," said Sonakshi Pandey, a resident of Kailash Colony.
Rumi Das, a resident of Sarita Vihar, said, "There has been no water at all. We called in tankers yesterday. If we are lucky enough to get water, it is actually muddy and of no use."
A senior DJB official attributed the disruption in water supply to power failure.
