Whenever we get a complaint, we get it checked. Sometimes, it takes time to identify the problem as to where exactly in the network it lies. Sometimes, we need to isolate a number of houses to identify and plug the problem.

More and more people are complaining about sewage mixing with their water supply or in general, very bad quality water.

At times, the problem does lie with our network. But our investigations tell us that many times it is at the end of the consumers.
What quality control checks do you conduct on a daily basis?

On an average we lift 350-400 samples from various places on our network right from treatment plants to booster stations to where a pipeline touches a colony. In fact, there has been a 12% increase in our sample collection for quality testing over last year.
