The Capital on Tuesday sizzled at 41.1 degrees Celsius, the highest in the season so far. The mercury had touched 41.1 degree Celsius on Saturday as well.
The blazing sun made the day hot and uncomfortable but the weatherman has predicted some relief for Wednesday and Thursday.
While the maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees and the minimum 27 degrees, dust storm in the evening could make the night pleasant.
Thursday is also expected to be cooler than Tuesday with the weatherman predicting thunderstorms in the evening.
The past four days have been witnessing temperature above 40 degree Celsius. Trace rainfall and a dust storm were also seen on Tuesday evening.
