"The session (Lok Sabha) is likely to conclude Dec 13," said a statement from the Lok Sabha secretariat.

On Friday, Rajya Sabha secretariat issued a notification informing MPs that the session will start Nov 9.

The winter session of parliament is significant as Obama, the first African American president of the US, is scheduled to address members during his maiden visit to India, a day ahead of the commencement of the session.
