Woman gang-raped in Faridabad

A 24-year-old woman, on her way back from Faridabad to her residence in Rohini was allegedly gang raped by three youth, including an auto driver, late on Tuesday night.

A 24-year-old woman, on her way back from Faridabad to her residence in Rohini was allegedly gang raped by three youth, including an auto driver, late on Tuesday night. The incident occurred when Rita (name changed), was waiting at the Palwal bus stand late on Tuesday evening. “While she was at the bus stand, an autorickshaw, with two people inside, offered to drop her at Badarpur border,” police said. “The woman agreed. However, the auto-driver called up a friend of his and later picked him up,” police said. “All three later raped her in Sec-59 and then dropped her at Alson Chowk in Faridabad,” Dalbir Singh, SHO, Sector-55 police station said. Police said a case has been registered against three persons and one Zakir has been held.
