Woman killed in Patel Nagar

A 48-year-old woman was found strangled and stabbed to death on her second floor house at West Patel Nagar in central Delhi on Sunday evening.

A 48-year-old woman was found strangled and stabbed to death on her second floor house at West Patel Nagar in central Delhi on Sunday evening.

According to police, the incident was reported to them around 5.30 pm by the victim's husband who was the first to discover her body.

The deceased has been identified as Neelam Sharma, who was alone at her house when the killer made a friendly entry and decamped with some cash and jewellery which she was wearing, police said. Victim’s husband, Rajender Sharma, is an accountant.
