He termed the decision of de-linking support to Mukherjee from the policy issues as nothing but “sheer hypocrisy and doublespeak”.
Bose, a former convener of CPM’s research wing, was also party’s voice on TV debates for many issues. According to party sources some more youngsters are set to follow his step.
His resignation letter is a scathing attack on the party leadership of the party for a host of reasons. “I consider the step to be a grave error, which will harm the Party and disturb Left unity.” He argued the leadership has committed mistake after mistake since 2007.
