The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has apprehended a Zambian woman for allegedly smuggling narcotics worth Rs.2.8 crore at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA). HT reports.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has apprehended a Zambian woman for allegedly smuggling narcotics worth Rs.2.8 crore at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA). The woman was intercepted at 12.40am at Terminal 3 by the intelligence wing of the CISF.

Chibuye Emmlychilonga, 32, from Zambia was detained and her travel documents revealed she was travelling to Addis Ababa on an Ethiopian Airlines flight.
"Her appearance appeared to be suspicious when she came to the airport and based on this profiling, she was selected for a thorough checking. On screening and physical checking her baggage, 35 kg of Methylenadroxhlyle, Ephedrine and Pseudoephedrine drugs were recovered in powder form concealed in her clothes," a CISF officer said.
The woman was later handed over to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The woman was on a tourist visa to India.
