CBSE Result 2022 Live: CBSE Class 10th result declared, 94.40% students pass

Some media reports are saying that CBSE results 2022 has been declared. However, result link is not yet active on board websites. We will let you know the details very soon.

Sudha Acharya, chairperson of the National Progressive School Conference (NPSC) which has more than 120 Delhi schools as its members said that some students were not attending school regularly since they were still waiting for the results.

Rashmi Raj Biswal, principal, DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, said there was confusion among students and clarity would emerge only after the declaration of results. “There is a lot of indecisiveness among students. Since there is a subject fee in classes 11 and 12 that varies across streams, we wait for the final stream allocation before admissions are authenticated. While children are coming to school, there is uncertainty and confusion since they are not sure which stream they would eventually pursue."

Pass marks in CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams is 33%. For subjects that have both practical and theory, securing at least 33% marks in both is a must.

As an added security measure, CBSE will introduce security PIN for DigiLocker accounts of students in order to download mark sheets, certificates, etc. Contact your school for your pin number.

CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Results 2022 date have not been official announced yet. Expectations are high that the result will be announced soon.

CBSE will announce term 2 results along with final results (term 1 and 2). The board conducted term 1 exams in November-December last year and results are already out.

CBSE is yet to confirm date and time for Class 10, or Class 12 final exam results.

Almost all state board – Odisha CHSE is an exception – have already published their board exam results and university admissions have started. CBSE students are worried that they might miss admission chances. To their help, UGC recently wrote to institution heads and asked them to wait till CBSE results and finish the admission process after that. 

Following CBSE's decision, many state and central boards – Punjab, Goa, CISCE, etc – too decided to hold board exams in 2 terms. 

CBSE has already announced that from 2023 onwards, there will be one board exam every year.

2. Click on the SSC or Class X result link
3. Enter school number, DoB and roll number
4. Submit and check result

1. Name, personal details and school details
2. Subject wise marks/grades in term 1, term 2
3. Final result, pass/fail status

If your grade points for the five main subjects are like this:

Subject 1: 8; Subject 2: 9; Subject 3: 7; Subject 4: 9; and Subject 5: 9

To calculate your CGPA,

Step 1: Add the grade points: 8+9+7+9+9 = 42

Step 2: Divide it by 5

42/5 = 8.5- which is your CGPA. 

Now, convert it to percentage, multiply by 9.5 – 

8.5 x 9.5 = 80.75%

On DigiLocker, a message reads that CBSE results will be uploaded soon.
