"This year has been an exceptionally difficult year for everyone due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the multiple National and States lockdowns, coupled with many other related problems.
Despite all odds, CISCE has successfully completed the evaluation of the ICSE & ISC Year 2020 Examinations Answer Scripts and is now ready to declare the results," the CISCE had said last year. This year as well, board exams could not be held at all as COVID-19 cases had surged in the country during March-May. This year also marks have been assessed in a non-traditional way.
Delhi schools register 100% pass in ICSE 2021 result
Delhi schools have registered 100% performance in the ICSE 2021 results which were announced today, July 24. A total of 5,463 students had appeared for the ICSE, which is the CISCE's class 10 board exam, from 48 schools in Delhi.

CISCE has asked school heads to take requests from students regarding error in calculation of marks. School heads have been asked to consider the requests, verify them and then forward it to the CISCE for verification.
There will be no re-checking of marks this year, it has said. Only verification of calculation is possible, CISCE has informed students.

The CISCE result is coming as per the date and time announced by the Council on July 23. Students can log on to cisce.org to check their result.

CISCE results today: What's next?
After the CISCE results are out, admissions to higher education courses will begin.
For ISC or class 12 students, college admission will be over by September 30. The classes for undergraduate courses will begin on October 1.
For admission to class 11, students should check the websites of the schools and colleges.
CISCE may hold special exams
To give a chance to students who are not satisfied with their marks which will be released today at 3 pm, the CISCE is likely to hold special exams. The exams will be held as and when COVID-19 vanishes completely the Council had said earlier.

ICSE, ISC result: Two years in a row, no merit list by CISCE
This year, as well there will be no merit list for ICSE, ISC students. Exams could not be held this year due to rise in COVID-19 cases. The CISCE will award marks to students on the basis of an alternate marking scheme.
“Given the exceptional circumstances, this year CISCE has not declared a Merit list for either the ICSE or ISC Year 2020 examinations,” Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of the council had said last year.
The CISCE is likely to make an announcement regarding special exams for those who wish to improve their scores.
ISC result: Last year, 96.82% students had passed the exam
In ISC exams 2020, a total of 88,409 students had appeared in the exam of which 85,611 had passed thus making a pass percentage of 96.82%.
In 2020, the pass percentage of ISC exams had increased by 2.02% over its last year’s 96.52%.
ICSE result: In 2020, 99.3% students had passed
Last year, the ICSE result was declared on July 10. The CISCE had registered 99.3% pass in class 10 which was an improvement of 0.79% over its last year’s performance. In 2018, 98.54% students had passed.
In ICSE exams 2020, a total of 2,07,902 students appeared of which 2,06,525 candidates were successful making a pass percentage of 99.33%.

The CISCE will host the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 results on a single website. Students have to go to cisce.org and click on the respective links to download their result.
ISC students keen on pursuing medicine course can apply for NEET
ISC students, having science subjects, who are keen on pursuing a career in medicine can apply for medical entrance exam NEET. The application forms are available on ntaneet.nic.in.
NEET 2021 will be held on September 12.
ICSE students should keep their pass certificate safely
ICSE students should note that the class 10 pass certificate is used as a proof of date of birth for official purposes. Therefore, immediately after receiving the date of birth certificate, they should check it and keep it safely.
CISCE had also scheduled board exams from May 4 like CBSE
Like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), CISCE's board exams were also slated to begin on May 4. The board had postponed Class 12 exams which were scheduled from May 4 in light of the devastating second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
