Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Sunday held the preliminary examination for assistant recruitment 2018 (advt 08/2018). The examination was conducted to fill 51 vacancies. The examination was held at various centres in Patna between 12 noon and 2.15 pm.

There were a total of 150 questions to be answered, in which 80-85 questions were from general awareness and general science. There was no negative marking for wrong answers.
The questions from maths and reasoning were of general standard. Students found it tough to answer questions from biology in science and question from current affairs.
Candidates who have studied NCERT, current affairs, matric level maths and reasoning questions of normal standard properly must have done well in the examination.
The cut off marks for general category candidates will not be below hundred in any circumstances.
