HPBOSE 10th result: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced the result of Class 10 exams on May 3. 63.39% students passed the exam. Of the 1,09,678 students who appeared for the exam, 68946 passed. 15,214 students got compartment.

More than 109,780 students appeared for the Class 10 exams, which were held from March 7 to March 20. Last year, 67.15% students cleared the Class 10 exams.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) had earlier declared the results of Class 12 board examinations on April 24. 70.18% students passed the exam.

Authorities installed closed-circuit television or CCTV cameras in the examination halls to deter students from copying during the exam. Over 100 flying squads were also deployed at the block level to deal with the problem.

The answer sheets were evaluated at designated centres to avoid any discrepancies and for a time-bound declaration of the results.
