ICSE Chemistry Paper analysis 2019: Students find questions easy

The ICSE Chemistry examination 2019 held on Friday (a day after Holi) proved to be a real morale booster for the students in Lucknow. The difficulty level was from easy to moderate, they said.

Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj said the paper was easy and best of all the papers held till now. According to Pragya and Deva Singh the paper was on expected lines. They could finish the paper within the stipulated time limit and sufficient time was left for revision too.

Mridul and Vaibhav were of the view that the paper was very scoring and balanced. Chemistry teachers, Neeti Srivastava and Rajiv Tripathi were very satisfied and confident. The jubilant face of the children were a testimony enough to prove that the paper was overall very good.

Manvendra, a student of CMS Gomti Nagar said, “The paper was very easy. It took me one hour 30 minutes to finish the paper”. Sakshi Sachan said the question paper was evenly balanced and most the questions were quite similar to pre baord exams. Bhumi said the numericals were quite easy to crack and calcualate.

Aryaratan Mishra and Dushyant Shukla gave it a score of 9 out of 10 in format setting and ease of the paper whereas Nidhi Singh and Shruti Mayur beamed from ear to ear! They opined that the Paper was very easy. The principal Mala Mehra rechecked with the teacher who mirrored the children’s view and said it was an easy paper! So smiles all around.

Kritika Yadav, a student of St Teresa’s College, Aashiana said the paper was easy. Most of the questions were direct and it was easy to understand. Barkha Yadav said that paper was easy and scoring. Ekta Singh said that Section A was very easy and Section B was moderate. Shipra Mishra said Section B was moderate and a little bit tough for her.

Chemistry teacher at St Teresa’s College, Aashiana, DK Srivastava found the ICSE Chemistry Science Paper 2 was moderate. He said students were happy after the examination. Paper was good for high scorers and little tough for mediocre, he said.
