
JEE Main result: Kota institutes prove mettle again as students claim top ranks
Kota has once again proved its mettle in the Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) 2018, with a large number of students from different coaching institutes in the city bagging the top ranks.
Students of Allen Career Institute of Kota got the best results, with claims of its seven students grabbing top ranks in first Top 20 list.
Director of Allen Career Institute, Brajesh Maheshwari said, “While our student Parth Satish Laturia and Bhaskar Arun Gupta bagged All India Rank (AIR) 3 and 7 respectively, the institute’s students, Navneel Singhal, Ayush Garg, Lay Jain, Karan Agarwala and Yash Gupta grabbed AIR Ranks 11, 12, 13, 16 and 19 respectively.”
Similarly, Resonance Eduventures claimed that 6th AIR Rank went to its student Pawan Goyal.
R K Verma, managing director of Resonance, said that more ranks will be known later as the result compilation work was underway.

Career Point Institute of Kota has also claimed success. Its director, Shailendra Maheshwari said that their students and brothers, Gopal Jain and Govind Jain from Odisha have bagged AIR Ranks 31 and 45 respectively. Other ranks from the institute include 127, 155 and 189.
Vibrant Academy claimed ranks for four of its students in the top 100. Rakesh Sharma, senior vice president of the institute, said their student Atulya Kumar Verma secured 17th rank in the general category.
Motion Institute of Kota has claimed AIR Rank 71 for its student Punit Shyamsukha.
Most institutes claimed that since the results are being compiled, they would be able to give a final tally only later.
