MP Board 12th result 2019: Arya Jain and Vivek Gupta top MPBSE Class 12 exam with 486 marks out of 500
Arya Jain of science maths stream and Vivek Gupta of commerce stream have topped the Madhya Pradesh Board Class 12 exams, the results for which were declared on Wednesday. They both have scored 486 marks. The Class 12 examinations were held from March 2 to April 12 and 7.32 lakh students appeared in the exam.
Students can check their MP Board Class 12 results by visiting the official website of MPBSE.
The students of Class 12 will get 14 bonus marks for a mistake in an instruction in English exam paper.
However, the meritorious students will not be felicitated at the time of results declaration due to model code of conduct related to ongoing Lok Sabha polls. MPBSE secretary Ajay Singh Gangwar said, “Unlike previous years, the board will not felicitate the meritorious students due to imposition of model code of conduct.” MPBSE and school education department used to felicitate the meritorious students with the announcement of the result in a ceremony which is organised by school education department.
During the Class 12 exam this year, 554 cheating cases of students were reported.

In 2018, the Madhya Pradesh Board for Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the results of Class 12 board examinations on May 14 in which 68.08% students passed.
In Class 12 Science stream, Lalit Panchori from Shivpuri topped with 98.4%, while Shivani Pawan topped in Arts stream with 95.2%. In Commerce stream, Ayush Dhenguna topped with 95.8% and Deepali Jain topped in biology with 96%.
