With a whopping 91.6% passing, Warangal district stood at the top while Adilabad with 54.9% came at the bottom.

5.59 lakh students appeared for the school end exams conducted in March 2015.

Girls scored a better pass percentage over the boys with 79.04% of them passing. 76.11 is boys pass ratio. In the Intermediate results (+2) too, which were announced recently, girls showed a better performance.

"In these exams too, the girls showed an upper hand over the boys," Kadiam Srihari, deputy CM and education minister said while releasing the results on Sunday.

28 schools across the state recorded a zero pass percentage. The advanced supplementary exams would be conducted from June 18 to July 2.

The minister also warned the private schools not to advertise the ranks in news media. Corporatisation of education and competition among the institutions has led to an unhealthy atmosphere in education in the state.
