School days
I attended too many schools at many places because my father was in the Army. The only common thread was my drive to excel. I had never liked losing and cried copiously if I didn’t stand first in class.

Training as a designer
My days at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) helped me to open up my spectrum. It was a strong platform to start from and helped me to know the basics, which is indeed a very strong foundation.

First show
My first show was an exhilarating experience. I put my all in my work and I had a vision that I focused on.

Independent spirit
I am inspired by life in general. I believe that every new day comes with new ideas, aspirations and dreams.

Professional highs
My muse is each woman who looks within for inspiration. And I strive to create art – every time better than the previous.

Highs as a human
I strive to take every still moment and transform it into a pulsating giantwheel.

Success secrets
I just always have to try it. If it is impossible, it must be great.

Advice to youngsters
The biggest challenge for a young designer is to reach out to clients and to be known. I would say they should believe in what they do and follow their dreams.
