Vice Chancellor’s Indian Scholarships at University of Sheffield in UK

The University of Sheffield is funding ten scholarships for Indian PhD applicants who will be starting their research in 2014-15.

The University of Sheffield is funding ten scholarships for Indian PhD applicants who will be starting their research in 2014-15. These scholarships fund up to three-four years full-time study (depending on the chosen area of study) and covers full overseas tuition fees and an annual, tax-free ­maintenance ­stipend at the standard UK Research rate (£13,683 in ­s2014-15)

Eligibility: Awards are open to Indian applicants only, who are currently Indian residents and who have a first degree from an Indian Institution. Candidates should meet the entry ­requirements for a PhD and should be applying to start their first year of study on a full-time PhD with the university in the 2014-15 academic year (ie after August 1, 2014)
