Poll results in Punjab and Goa will have a significant bearing on the national ambitions of the Aam Aadmi Party, which won 67 of Delhi’s 70 seats. Victory could propel them into the big league, and perhaps, even establish the AAP as a leader in an anti-BJP/anti-Congress alliance. A failure, however, could dent the party’s hopes ahead of Gujarat elections later this year, where it plans to fight the ruling BJP.
