Most of the exit polls predicted a clear victory for the incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, an edge in Uttarakhand, and a close contest in Goa. Congress was betting against the exit poll results for Punjab, where it was incumbent, and hoping that the neck-to-neck fight in Goa and Uttarakhand, as predicted by the pollsters, turned out in its favour. But BJP has been successful in keeping Congress out of power in all those states.

Punjab elections 2022 final results: AAP - 92, Congress - 18
The Aam Aadmi Party has won 92 seats in the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections, limiting the incumbent Congress to 18. Bharatiya Janata Party bagged two seats while Shiromani Akali Dal won from three assembly constituencies. One seat each was won by an independent candidate and BSP.
Goa elections 2022 final results: BJP wins 20, Congress 11
BJP won 20 seats and Congress won 11, while Aam Aadmi Party and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak bagged two each in Goa assembly elections. Goa Forward Party and Revolutionary Goans Party won one seat each. Two seats were won by independent candidates.

UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted his pictures with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah on the historic win in assembly elections.
"This overwhelming majority is the seal of the people's unwavering faith in the prime minister's public welfare policies," wrote Adityanath on Twitter. "Jai Shri Ram!"

Goa election results: BJP comes up with '20+3+2' formula to form govt
BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis revealed the formula of forming government in Goa. He said the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) has given a letter of support to the BJP.
"Three independent MLAs have also supported us. So now we are 20+3+2 =25. There is a possibility that more candidates will join us. So we are forming the government," Fadnavis said.
PM Modi to address BJP workers from Party HQ in Delhi: Report
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP workers from the party headquarters in New Delhi at around 7pm, reported news agency ANI quoting sources. BJP national president JP Nadda has arrived at BJP Headquarters after the party succeeded in retaining power in four states of Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Goa.
