As bizarre as this might sound, a 16-year-old country singer married got hitched with a 51-year-old actor. Sexy Courtney Stodden, a popular YouTube, MySpace starlet, married Lost's Doug Hutchison in a ceremony at Vegas.



The pair insists that even though people might find their union strange thanks to the age difference, they are very much in love and want to spread the message that "love is ageless."



So who is Courtney Stodden after all? A former model and pageant queen, she has now become a household name as a country artist. Ironically, the 16-year-old's body has got the viewers doubting if she is really sixteen!

So, it is legal for a sixteen year old to marry? By Nevada law, the main requisite is parental consent and strangely enough, Courtney's mother is completely supportive of the match and couldn't be more proud of the new bride.

She told Radar.com, "We are totally supportive of this marriage … Doug is a wonderful man and we love him."
