A batua worth one crore

Syed Farooq, a craftsman from Bhopal has designed a purse called Bhopali batua, worth Rs 1 crore. The purse is embedded with 787 diamonds, 850 grams of gold, 521 pieces of 89 carat ruby and 552 pearls of Basra.

It took 16 craftsmen 35 days to complete. The purse, on display at the diamond exhibition in Bhopal, was unveiled by Hollywood actress Linda Arsenio and model Shahwar Ali.
