Actor Abhishek Bachchan recently got angry when ad-man Prahlad Kakkar joked about his string of flops. But, on a recent visit to the Capital to promote his film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Abhi was more than happy to dole out jokes at the expense of his co-star Deepika Padukone and director Ashutosh Gowariker.
About Gowariker’s explanation that he "tumbled" pon the book Do and Die on which the film is based, Bachchan quipped, “Really? You were walking and you stumbled upon it?”
Deepika, too, was on the receiving end of his humour. “We ate together, but Deepika is very picky about what she eats, which is why she has the figure she has.” The film also stars six debutants, but Bachchan says he wasn’t preachy.
Instead, it was Deepika, who was doling out the advice. “We all looked up to her (Deepika) and she is very generous as a co-artist, she’s very willing to share her opinion, her point of view,” he said sarcastically.
Even the media wasn’t spared Bachchan’s sarcasm. When asked about his decision to sport a clean shaven look in this film, he retorted, “Why is my stubble a matter of national debate? Ask me something new, I’m bored.”
