Actor Adhyayan Suman says he wants to be versatile like his father, actor-comedian Shekhar Suman. “My next agenda is I’m going to get into singing. As far as production is concerned with my dad’s next film, Heartless, I’m concentrating on my production house. I will also get into direction in future,” says Adhyayan, adding: “I want to be versatile like my dad. I’m just 24 and I have enough time with me.”
The actor made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with Haal-e-Dil and went on to do films like Raaz- The Mystery Continues and Jashnn, after which he maintained a low profile. “It did take some time for me to come up with my next film after Jashnn. I’m glad that I debuted with Haal-e-Dil even though it bombed at the box office. But because of it, I got Raaz 2,” says the 24-year-old.
But Adhyayan has six films in his kitty now. “For now, I’m doing Dehraadun Diary, Heartless, Himmatwala, and then I’m doing one South remake. There are two more projects,” he adds.
Asked if he takes his father’s advice before signing any film, Adhyayan says, “My dad does give his opinions before I sign any film but he never interferes... I have learnt from my mistakes.”
