Aditya Chopra controls Anushka's moves

Despite Anushka Sharma’s clarifications that she is not controlled by Yash Raj films, buzz is that Aditya Chopra still keeps an eye on her moves.

When Anushka Sharma agreed to star in Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House, it was assumed that she was no longer controlled by Aditya Chopra, her mentor. However, sources have told a daily that Adi still takes interest in her career.

Tarika Singh, who looks after Anushka’s media relations and John, who looks after her film interests, have been appointed by Yash Raj. Both these managers are reportedly expected to get the approval of Yash Raj before they say 'yes' to any film.

Anushka has maintained that she is grateful to Adi for launching her in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and doesn't mind if he takes interest in her career.

Buzz is that after her second assignment for Yash Raj, directed by Parmeet Sethi, the actress will be contractually left with one more film for the banner that introduced her to Bollywood. However, she is free to sign any outside film, but the project must be approved by Yash Raj.
