Gurinder Chadha’s It’s A Wonderful Afterlife premiered on Thursday night. Shababa Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar sneaked in through the back door. Azmi had to be persuaded by Chadha to show up at the media enclosure. Shreya Saran desperately tried to make contacts with shutterbugs. Rohit Roy and wife Manasi arrived just after the screening started.
