Akshay is on a hit parade
?I haven?t got as much praise for my work in Khakee as I did for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi,? says a thrilled Akki.
Akshay Kumar is going through one of the best phases of his life. His Mujhse Shaadi Karogi is a hit and, besides giving hit after hit, he is getting to spending ample time with wife Twinkle and son Araav. “I haven’t got as much praise for my work in Khakee as I did for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi,” says a thrilled Akki. Though he has done many light-hearted roles in the past (Mr And Mrs Khiladi, Hera Pheri, Awara Paagal Deewana, Khaakee to name a few), he admits that the adulation he got for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi far exceeds all others.
“My forthcoming line-up is a right mix of thrillers and light entertainers,” he adds. Scheduled for release on Diwali, that falls on November 12, are Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo and Aitraaz, which according to him is “a very bold film."
