Akshay Kumar not allowed!

Shilpa Shetty preferred not to invite her ex Akshay Kumar for her wedding. What was even more surprising - the band at Shilpa's wedding was asked not to play Akki's songs!

Shilpa Shetty certainly wants to keep ex flame Akshay Kumar away from her married life. While the actress and her fiance mutually agreed not to invite Akshay and Twinkle for their wedding, what was even more amusing was that the band at Shilpa's wedding was instructed not to play songs from Akki's films.

Bandwallahs at Shilpa's big fat wedding were asked to stop the music just as they started playing songs from Akshay Kumar's films. When they played the song from the Akki-Shilpa starrer Dhadkan outside Kiran Bawa's bunglow, a few people instructed by the duo's family came out running and asked the band to immediately stop playing the music, leaving the bandwallah's shocked and confused.

"Akshay ki film ka gaana mat bajao" - is what they were told sternly. They were also asked to run the list of songs that would be playing all evening past them.
