Amrita Arora's dream of a church wedding was shattered when her family got a call from the Mt Mary Basilica stating that the wedding ceremony would not be possible because of security issues.

The bride-to-be had invited 150 guests to her church wedding. Says a family friend, "We were all shocked when we got a call from Amu saying her wedding at Mt Mary was cancelled because of lack of security arrangements.

The authorities at the church had this argument that church was a public property and they couldn't allow a private function on that. They also said that any uninvited person could come in and attend the wedding and her family would have to provide security arrangements and the church couldn't take responsibility.

After much deliberation, they family decided to cancel the wedding at that venue.
