Angelina Jolie steps out after mastectomy

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, 37, made her first public appearance after undergoing a double mastectomy, at the red carpet premiere of fiancee Brad Pitt’s film, World War Z, over the weekend in London.

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, 37, made her first public appearance after undergoing a double mastectomy, at the red carpet premiere of fiancee Brad Pitt’s film, World War Z, over the weekend in London.

Dressed in a long black dress, Jolie said, “I feel great. I feel wonderful.” Thanking Pitt for his support, she said, “He's been extraordinary. He’s such a wonderful man and a wonderful father and I’m very, very lucky.” Pitt, too, was all praise for Jolie. “She is doing great, it is business as usual, it is the next stage for us.”

Jolie announced last month that she had got double mastectomy done after she found out that she carried a faulty gene, which increased the risk of getting breast cancer.
