Reason: he has been inundated with calls and messages, congratulating him for his performance in 24, his international television show. So much so that after replying to barely a few messages, his handset bailed on him, requiring to be switched off and on.

Last heard, Kapoor was struggling to ensure that he replies to every sandesha, lest people misconstrue him to have developed an attitude. Hmm… why am I not surprised?

But then, such is life dearies.
