Delhi’s designer autos will go up for auction today.

Call them arty autos. 13 auto-rickshaws handcrafted by artists Satish Gupta, Sanjay Bhattacharya and Paresh Maity, among others, will be auctioned this evening at The Claridges (entry by invitation).

The autos were first displayed at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in March, in collaboration with the FDCI along with Leena Singh, who is the governing board member of NGO Khushii. The NGO took up the initiative of designing these autos.

“Many beautiful people with beautiful hearts came forward to inquire about the auction at the venue during the Fashion Week,” says Singh. “The funds raised from the auction will be utilised for underprivileged children.”
