After a six-year hiatus, director Joy Augustine is back with yet another movie. And he will be launching not one but seven new youngsters.

Among the seven new boys, three are actors’ kids — yesteryear’s villain Ranjeet’s son Jeeva Bedi, Javed Jaffrey’s son Mizan and Sudesh Berry’s son Sooraj.

All three youngsters are still studying. Says Augustine, “Nothing is finalised yet. We are currently holding workshops for these upcoming talents. And we are yet to take the permission from their respective schools. The movie will have 150-odd children.

The yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by Sunil Shetty’s production house Popcorn Entertainment and is expected to go on the floors shortly.

“Everything depends on whether or not we get permission from the kids’ school. Also, they have to be free to do the film,” says Augustine.

Shetty and Augustine have roped in Mark Lapwood as the cameraperson.

“Lapwood is a New Zealander but he lives in Australia,” confirms Augustine.

Augustine, who is known to launch fresh faces in his films, had launched Arshad Warsi, Chandrachur Singh, Priya Gill and Simran in Tere Mere Sapne and Karan Nath and Aarti Agarwal in Paagalpan.
