Varun Dhawan had gone to Galaxy (Salman Khan’s address) only to give the Dabangg (2010) actor a music CD of his upcoming debut film, Student Of The Year. But little did he expect to find the star in such a generous mood that he would come away with cartons full of clothes for himself and his co-actor Siddharth Malhotra.

Salman, it seems, started chatting with Varun about the film and promotions before asking him to try out some new T-shirts, jackets and jeans. He even made Varun call Siddharth and ask for his clothes size. “Before anyone realised what was happening, around four cartons full of Being Human clothes were brought out for Sid and Varun,” an insider tells us. Salman has known Varun (director David Dhawan’s son) since he was a kid. But the star wanted Siddharth to feel special too. Even Karan Johar was sent some clothes, it seems. “All the clothes — designed by an international designer — are from the newest line of Being Human, which is yet to hit the market,” adds the insider.

Although Salman remained unavailable for a comment, Varun says, “Salman bhai loves to give.” Siddharth adds, “It feels great when he does something for you.”
