Beyonce Knowles' parents may soon get divorced. The singer's mother Celestine Tina has filed papers for separation from the singer's father/manager Mathew Knowles.

The estranged couple had stopped living together since last January, reports the New York Daily News.

The petition gives the grounds for divorce as, "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities...that destroys the legitimate relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."

Also, in October, a woman claiming she was six months pregnant with Mathew's love child had filed a paternity suit against him.
